It is best to wait 2-4 weeks after painting before washing your walls, remember to use soft cloth or a sponge applying it gently to avoid damaging walls.
Yes! New plaster should always be primed before you paint. Plaster will fully cure in approximately 30 days (depending on humidity) and can be primed with a latex, water based or alkyd primer. The earliest you can prime newly plastered walls is 7 days (depending on humidity) and it will require an Acrylic Primer most notably know as a “Masonry Primer/Sealer”
